Magnificent and elegant glass-fronted school cabinet in solid raw oak dating from the early 1950s. Very nice vintage condition. Beautifully crafted. Numbered cabinet. Dismountable. This cabinet has been carefully sanded, raw wood, with a protective, colorless, matte oil finish. The doors are not warped, the brass-plated hinges are impeccable and very solid. The lock is new, it has been replaced, the key is vintage. Inside, there is ample storage capacity with 5 large modular shelves and two shallower ones, all original. These shelves have been sanded and are impeccable. This cabinet can be used as a bookcase or dresser. The glass is original and old, slightly blurred, absolute charm. A few barely visible scratches should be noted. A brass bar delimits the glass on the front. Please note, all of this vintage furniture retains traces of its previous lives despite a long and careful renovation. This cabinet is heavy. It will be delivered to you partially disassembled. The top of the cabinet is removable, as are the glass doors and shelves. If you wish, you can completely disassemble it by removing the bottom, which unscrews from the back. For Parisians and suburbanites, a reassembly service is available; simply mention it when choosing your delivery preferences. Dimensions: W100xD42xH205. Adjustable shelves W96xD17-33.
