Vintage glass vide-poche/ashtray made of Murano blown art glass. Floral shape (often attributed to Italian workshops from the mid-20th century such as Barovier & Toso), characterised by its green hue, organic and scalloped edges, and its controlled bubble technique (bullicante). Origin/Style: Italian art glass (Murano), Mid-Century Modern style (1950s-1960s). Technique: Hand-blown glass with a bullicante effect (small air bubbles regularly trapped within the thickness of the glass). Shape: Free-form, wavy and scalloped edge, suitable for use as a vide-poche, decorative bowl, or ashtray. Dimensions/Maximum diameter 19 cm. Height between 4.5 and 8 cm. Net weight 915 g. In very good vintage condition.
