Italian work, 1980. H 46 X W 30 X D 23 cm. Perforated aluminium and textile. Very good condition, fully functional. The structure in perforated aluminium guides the eye upwards, towards a triangular textile sail that serves as a lampshade. Designed by Steve Lombardi for Artemide in 1980, this wall light belongs to a series named after the Aeolian Islands — a name that evokes, like the shape of the piece, a sail capturing light rather than a simple diffuser. Carefully cleaned, fully functional.
