Vintage cermic vase by Jean Rivier

Very nice ceramic vase, signed jean rivier (1915-2017), great ceramicist of the vallauris era (city of "potters", including pablo picasso, marsh jeans, gerbino jeans, roger capron...) Dates back to the 1950s, when jeanrivier produced a well-known work of ceramics decorated with modernist geometric patterns, engraved or hand-painted. It is inspired in particular by the parietal art of tassili (the hoggar algeria desert) and raw art. Note: the bottleneck is irregular. No shards, no felure. Size: Height: 23 cm. Base diameter: 6.5 cm. Diametre bottleneck: 3 cm. Careful mailing.
