Vintage glazed ceramic vase drop | Black and red flared amphora | Mid-Century pottery vase with two handles

A superb vintage amphora vase in ceramic with a flared trumpet neck and two sculptural volute handles. Finished in a dramatic black and red glaze, with the shiny red base bleeding upwards into a rich black, characteristic of mid-century studio pottery glazing techniques. Unsigned/unmarked, with an unglazed base typical of the era. A bold sculptural piece, equally striking empty or adorned with dried flowers. Condition: excellent vintage condition, no chips or cracks.
