Night blue and pink smooth glazed ceramic vase pitcher soliflore.

Superb pitcher vase (or soliflore) in handmade ceramic dating from the 1960s-1970s. This piece stands out with its slender and very architectural silhouette, enhanced by a large stylised handle. It features a remarkable work of flamed glaze that is completely smooth and shiny to the touch. The decoration merges a very deep midnight blue background with vibrant splashes of fuchsia/magenta, all highlighted by fine touches of bluish-white foam. The underside of the base showcases the same smooth and shiny midnight blue glazing. A beautiful retro collectible, with a bold colour contrast, ideal for adding a mid-century pop touch to a sideboard or shelf.
