Marine lamp in bronze and brass - bronze swing lamp

Antique Marine Counterweight Candlestick. This candlestick has been electrified (the electrification system is reversible, and this lamp can easily be converted back into a candlestick). This counterweighted ship's lamp is made of bronze and brass: a 19th-century nautical item. The candlestick stem is movable thanks to a counterweight system that keeps it upright when tilted (see photos). Good overall condition, E14 screw-in bulb socket. Lamp sold without a lampshade.
