Copper plaque, Annunciation, signed Edouard Thiébaut

Splendid copper plaque, lead back, depicting the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary. This plaque is signed in the bottom right by Edouard Thiébaut (1878-1953), a Belgian sculptor, and can be dated to the late 19th century, very early 20th century. You will admire the delicacy of the chiselling and the patina of this object, which is a true favourite!
