Antique carved oak wardrobe – figurative scene – late 19th century

Superb antique wardrobe in solid oak, dating from the late 19th century, richly carved. The front features a remarkable high-relief carved panel depicting a scene of rural life, with two characters in an old interior, a testament to the craftsmanship of the time. The lower part is adorned with a central carved medallion, surrounded by finely worked floral and vegetal motifs. The piece is topped with a decorative openwork gallery and rests on short, sturdy feet. The interior is made of raw wood, healthy and functional, offering ample storage capacity. Solid wood with a beautiful original patina, signs of wear consistent with the age of the piece. No repainting, no stripping: the piece remains authentic.
