American cylinder desk 1930

Very beautiful American cylinder desk from the 1930s. It was imported directly from the southeastern United States! Made of solid oak, it consists of a foldable upper structure with a rolling wooden slat cover and its lock. Inside the main niche are 2 drawers and storage compartments. A main drawer frames two low units, each equipped with 4 drawers and 2 shelves. A very clever system allows the drawers to be locked once the roll is lowered and locked. Beautiful design and craftsmanship of a fully dismountable desk. Imposing yet so functional, imbued with American culture, it will find its place in a timeless interior.
