Vintage Pirkka Coffee Table by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Laukaan Puu 1955

Stunning coffee table from the pirkka series, designed by ilmari tapiovaara in 1955 for laukaan puu, finland. The coffee table is marked with the original brand underneath the top. It has a solid pine top, which consist of 3 parts nicely connected by dowels and is supported by 2 black lacquered rectangular wooden blocks. This beautiful coffee table in japanese style is rare and not offered a lot. The table is in good condition. The top have some small signs of use. The black base has some traces of wear. Width 70 cm. Depth 70 cm. Height 23 cm.
