Pair of tripod pine stools with a strong brutalist style. Made in France by Burgundian craftsmen in the 1950s. Each stool is made from a piece of solid tree trunk serving as a seat, mounted on three raw wood legs, which gives each piece a unique and organic aesthetic. The work highlights the material in its most natural state: visible grain, irregular shapes, knots, and imperfections that make up the charm of raw craftsmanship. The seat and certain parts of the stools are grayed by time, giving them a beautiful raw patina.
