Set of three rustic solid wood tripod stools.

Charming set of three tripod stools of popular art in solid wood, representative of rustic mountain furniture and the brutalist aesthetic of the 1960s-1970s. Each seat, carved directly from the mass, features a unique geometric cut (half-moon, round, and oval shapes) showcasing the growth rings of the wood as well as a beautiful border in preserved natural bark. The three splayed legs, raw and securely dowelled, provide excellent stability and a sculptural look to the whole. The set has a warm, amber hue with a lovely waxed/varnished patina from use. Perfect as extra seating, side tables, bedside tables, or pedestals to highlight a ceramic piece. In very good overall condition, solid and stable.
