Eames office chair - EA 104 (similar to EA 108) beige fabric and aluminum

📔 About: This is the 2nd edition (curved straight legs) of the EA 104 chair designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by the American manufacturer Herman Miller. The EA 104 chair (very similar to the EA 108 which has a slightly lower back) is among the greatest achievements in the history of 20th century design. It has a clear and graphic form, and its aluminum construction is a testament to a unique and intelligent design. The beige fabric backrest is original and is perfectly designed to follow the line of the body and be comfortable without the need for extensive padding. ✍️ This chair can swivel and is marked with the Herman Miller miller sign with serial number. Completely original piece. Still very often copied today, but none of these pale copies would be able to last a quarter of the age of this chair (about 50 years and many more to come). ✨ Condition: Armchair in very good condition, especially for its age. No marks or snags on the seat and backrest fabric. The fabric has been professionally cleaned. Brushed aluminum base and armrests with a beautiful patina.
