Vitra Eames Herman Miller EA 108 office chair 1989

We are delighted to offer for sale one of the three original vintage swivel office chairs by Charles & Ray Eames, Vitra, Herman Miller EA 108 from 1989, triple stamped, in a very rare dark brown Hopsak fabric. These chairs are part of a series, including three high-back versions and three standard-back versions. This sale concerns one of the three standard-back chairs, with the option to purchase all three by adjusting the quantity. The fabric is a very dark chocolate brown, almost black in low light. The chairs have been professionally cleaned and show some pitting on the chrome and a patina on the Hopsak fabric due to their age (nearly 40 years). The chairs are fitted with very worn Charles & Ray Eames stickers around the axes, perfect condition Vitra Eames stickers, and the serial number 938-139 engraved on the frame.
