19th century giltwood work table

A Louis XV style work table in Martin varnish, dating from the late 19th century. The tabletop is decorated with a romantic scene of a game of blind man's bluff. Each curved side is decorated with flowers and foliage. The cabriole legs are adorned with gilt bronze mounts. There is a drawer on the side (mahogany wood). The tabletop opens to reveal a compartment lined with the original velvet. A very pretty bouquet of flowers decorates the inside of the tabletop. The original lock and key are in working order.
