1930s Bakelite desk lamp by Eric Kirkman Cole for ESC, Czech Republic

A beautiful desk lamp designed by Eric Kirkman Cole, manufactured by ESC in the Czech Republic in the 1930s. This modern lamp is made of high quality brown Bakelite with round shapes, giving it a Bauhaus-like style. The piece emits a bright, directed light which makes it perfect for use as a desk lamp, but it also functions nicely as a decorative addition anywhere else in the interior. Labeled on the foot. The piece remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
