Rare and beautiful oyster plate. Desvres earthenware. Handmade and signed by the artist Gabriel Fourmaintrux who largely contributed to the reputation of this earthenware factory. In the magnificent tones and patterns of gray, white, black and edelweiss-style flowers used by the artist for other pieces. Very good condition. Some slight wear related to time. Very slight chips on the back: see photo.
