Antique four-fold screen or four-panel screen. Double-sided. The panels are made of wood. Each panel is covered in blue velvet, both front and back. The top and bottom are covered in velvet, as well as the joint connecting the panels. On each panel, the velvet is studded on both sides. At its base, there are large nails to secure it to the ground and protect the velvet. I emphasise that the screen is crafted in the same way on both sides, demonstrating the quality of its design. Very beautiful finishes. Its condition reflects its age and use: some signs of wear and tear that are completely normal, but it is in rather very good condition for its age. There are some signs of rubbing and soiling, but no major damage. No tears. No missing parts. No holes. Very meticulous and high-end craftsmanship.
