American oak cylinder desk (renovated)

Large American desk with a curtain in oak that can also serve as a reception counter in a business. Of English origin, it dates from the early 20th century. Materials: solid oak. Features: this American desk is equipped with two retractable shelves on either side of its seat, as well as eight drawers (one large central, four on the left, and three on the right, one of which is double). It closes with a cylinder curtain and has numerous small storage spaces and drawers on its top. The upper and lower parts of the American desk can be disassembled. The curtain locks with a key. And the drawers have a little secret: some only open if the curtain is not locked. The desk is mounted on four small wheels. Renovation: this American desk has been completely sanded to remove its damaged varnish. It was then washed and protected with a clear matte varnish that preserves its patina without shine. Condition: this American desk is in superb condition. Its cylinder curtain works very well but needs to be pulled gently with both hands to avoid derailing. Its drawers slide perfectly.
