Minimalist XL lowboard, walnut and zebrano, 1960s

A unique lowboard in the minimalist Mid-Century Modern style of the 1960s. Thanks to its varied front design, comprising two handle-less hinged compartments and an open shelf, the piece appears light and elegant despite its extra-wide dimensions. It is predominantly made from walnut-veneered chipboard, whilst the fronts of the hinged compartments are entirely covered in zebrano veneer. The unit stands close to the floor on eight round metal feet. The entire piece has been sanded and finished with a satin-matt lacquer.
