Typical 1970s Sarreguemines coffee/teapot, made from warm honey-coloured Lorraine stoneware with tobacco brown nuances. The decor is simple and graphic: a wide brown frieze highlighted by a stylised motif with organic, almost floral accents in smoky tones. The shape is perfectly balanced: a generous body, an elongated spout, a comfortable handle, and a domed lid encircled by a deep brown ring. Stamped Sarreguemines in relief under the base (stamp used from 1974). In beautiful vintage condition, with a small discreet chip on the spout, a fine superficial crack at the inner neck of the lid (non-penetrating, without impact on use), and slight signs of use under the base. These micro-imperfections remain very discreet and do not affect the stability or charm of the piece (see photos). Total height with lid is 18.5 cm, height without lid is 15 cm, diameter is 11 cm, and width from handle to spout is 21 cm. Estimated capacity is approximately 1.2 litres. It fully aligns with the current trend for natural materials and earthy palettes, embodying a modern rustic and warm wabi-sabi spirit.
