Antique draper's table / kitchen island, circa 1920–1940 – France

French antique draper's table dating from around 1920–1940, made of poplar and pine with a fruitwood top. Measuring 190 cm long and 58 cm deep, the table offers a large work surface while maintaining relatively narrow proportions. The fruitwood top contrasts with the poplar and pine base, showcasing natural differences in grain and color between the woods. A single drawer allows for the storage of utensils, cutlery, or other small items. At 91 cm high, the table is perfectly suited as a standalone kitchen island or preparation table. Its length also makes it useful as a display table in a shop or serving surface in a dining room. In good antique condition, with signs of age and use. As with many antique wooden furniture pieces, old wormholes may be present. All our furniture is treated preventively against woodworms.
