Art Deco vase Boch Frères Keramis, capucine decoration D.2762, crackled enamel

Ovoid vase with flared neck, deep turquoise blue glaze, decoration D.2762 from the Boch Frères Keramis factory in La Louvière, in the spirit of Charles Catteau. On a finely crackled pale turquoise background, stylised nasturtiums bloom all around the body. There are large pale yellow flowers with orange centres, round turquoise blue leaves with bright green veins, and cobalt blue and orange buds. The motifs, outlined in black, are applied in thick glazes that create a slight relief to the touch. The crackling of the background and flowers, typical of this production, gives the decoration a lively texture that catches the light. The intense blues and bright orange make it a particularly luminous piece, beautiful both empty and with a bouquet. Marking. "Keramis Made in Belgium" stamp under the base.
