The ceramic vase was made in the 1960s in Germany. A slender, tall vase made from vintage German ceramics, finished in an elegant, smoky graphite-grey shade. The surface features a beautiful, deep glaze with a delicate ‘stone’ effect, broken up by vertical, contrasting black appliqués with colourful accents (blue, green, yellow) – like tiny, jewel-like points of light. The form is minimalist and very stylish: slightly tapered towards the top, with a subtly emphasised rim, making the vase look like a designer piece from a gallery. It is an item that perfectly sets the mood of an interior: ideal for mid-century modern, modern classic and loft styles, but also as a striking accent in modern, minimalist spaces. Excellent both on its own (as a sculpture) and with tall branches or a large bouquet. A unique piece with a strong, decorative character – a true ‘statement piece’ for collectors of vintage ceramics. Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of use. Technical data. Height: 40, 5 cm. Width: 15 cm. Depth: 15 cm.
