Napoleon III period coat rack, late 19th century, in solid walnut. Cleaned and reimagined as a charming retro piece (dark earth brown stain), this former entrance coat rack sets the tone as soon as you step through the door. It is in excellent condition for its age: only the mirror has some minor pitting in a high corner, but this adds to its authenticity and does not hinder its function. Note: the two front turned wooden feet were missing; the back base has been cut to restore the coat rack's stability. The back of the piece is clean, left in raw wood, and the mirror is protected by a nailed plate. This coat rack, with its shallow depth and width, combining old-world charm and practicality, will bring a warm character to any entrance. It consists of: A large bevelled mirror without chips, with minor usage scratches, A shelf with a drawer (original brass handle) and a red marble plate (without cracks, intact corners), Eight brass hooks (four double, two single, two low hangers), A double brass umbrella stand, Two zinc bowls (original paint with small, barely visible losses in the corners). Dimensions: Width: 100 cm max (80 cm at the top), Depth: 30 cm max at the shelf (marble: L46XP24), Height: 195 cm.
