Magnificent entrance wardrobe in solid oak, an elegant testament to the Napoléon III style of the last quarter of the 19th century. Its architectural pediment unfolds nobly: two volutes frame an arch crowned with a finely turned ship's wheel, flanked by large double-bowl urns. A maritime and Renaissance theme gives the piece a unique and refined character. At the heart of the furniture, a bevelled oval mirror set in a sculpted panel of incised scrolls and foliage softly captures the light. Six hammer-shaped hooks hold coats and hats, while two side rings are dedicated to umbrellas and canes. The lower console shelf houses two drawers adorned with deeply carved scallop shells, resting on turned baluster feet. The whole is anchored on a base with moulded edges and ball feet.
