Erik Brouer desk in rosewood Brouer Mobelfabrik Denmark 1960

Impressive rosewood desk designed by Erik Brouer and manufactured by Brouer Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1960s. The desk features beautifully figured rosewood with rich tones and expressive grain patterns throughout. Its generous rectangular top has softly rounded edges and rests on a refined frame with elegantly shaped legs. Six spacious drawers, arranged in two sets of three, provide practical storage. Each drawer features a distinctive recessed wooden handle, while the upper drawers are fitted with locks. The original key is included. The reverse offers three open storage compartments, allowing the desk to be positioned freely in a room. Its combination of sculptural detailing, balanced proportions and practical functionality makes it a fine example of Danish mid-century craftsmanship.
