Superb Art Deco modernist table from the 1940s, featuring an elegant top made of exotic wood veneer (Macassar ebony), identifiable by its dark and contrasting grains. At the centre of the top, a geometric woven marquetry inlay enhances the table's aesthetic and showcases true artisanal craftsmanship. The top has a slightly curved shape with refined edges, providing a sophisticated and dynamic silhouette. The discreet apron supports four tapered legs in black lacquered wood, typical of the 1940s style, accentuated by patinated brass feet. Condition: Very good overall condition with some discreet signs of use consistent with age (visible in photos).
