Elegant Art Deco table from the 1940s, featuring a superb chevron marquetry design at the centre of the top. This refined pattern, typical of Art Deco furniture, highlights a rosewood veneer, identifiable by its dark and contrasting grains. The edges of the top are made from a zebrano or straight-grained rosewood veneer, creating a striking graphic frame. The structure, simple and streamlined, rests on four tapered legs finished in black lacquer, ending with original metal caps, an emblematic detail of the French and Italian modernist style of the time (inspired by Jacques Hitier, Guariche, Minvielle). The table is equipped with two side extensions, allowing for a significant increase in length to accommodate more guests. Features: Main material: Rosewood veneer Top frame: Zebrano or veined rosewood veneer Top pattern: Chevron marquetry (herringbone pattern) Legs: Black lacquered wood, tapered shape Finishes: Metal caps Function: Extendable table with side extensions Dimensions: H73.5 L168 LR238 P95 Delivery possible throughout France.
