Round to oval extendable dining set by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, 1960s

Beautiful dining set in rosewood designed in the 1960s by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform. The round table is extendable from 130cm to 190cm thanks to a central leaf which unfolds and enables up to 6 guests. This table is called ‘Model 600’ as seen in the original Belform catalog. Offered here as a set with 6 matching chairs. The table has been restored and the chairs have been reupholstered by the previous owner. Both the table and this model of chair with round legs are not so common and therefore hard to find Belform items. Not labeled but listed in the original catalog.
