Vintage K&G Lunéville platter – “Red Fruits” design – 1930s/40s

Round fine earthenware dish signed Keller & Guérin – Lunéville, decorated with an elegant red fruit motif in a carmine gradient, typical of airbrush work from the 1930s/40s. The piece features a superb textured, basketweave-style rim, adorned with a deep red gradient that delicately frames the central motif. This luminous and inviting design evokes both large family tables and the spirit of kitchens of yesteryear. The red hues are particularly successful, vibrant without being garish, with the gentle charm characteristic of Lunéville during this period. Stamped K & G Lunéville. Beautiful vintage appearance: glossy glaze, crisp relief, perfectly legible decoration. Minor signs of wear on the rim, consistent with its age (see photos).
