Magnificent duo of antique plates in faience and artistic majolica, signed by the famous Italian workshop Francesco Guarino (1950s-1970s). These exceptional pieces feature remarkable trompe-l'œil work and high relief. The two plates are characterised by a woven edge imitating wickerwork, highlighted by a delicate powder pink gradient. One showcases a branch of fig with sculpted leaves, complete figs, and an open fig. The other presents a superb flowering branch adorned with plump red cherries and small white flowers. A true treasure of Italian table art, ideal for adding a chic, colourful, and poetic rustic touch to your decor or for a bucolic wall display. Stamp "FG" visible on the back of each plate. Condition: Very good overall condition, vibrant colours and intact reliefs. D23.5cm H2.7cm
