Set of 4 Cesca chairs by Marcel Breuer attributed to Gavina, 1960s

This announcement presents very well-known chairs - the Cesca chair by Marcel Breuer. The production of the chairs is attributed to Gavina. Marcel Breuer was an architect who worked at the Bauhaus School of Architecture and Design. He designed the Cesca chair in 1928 for Thonet Brothers. Since then, it has become the must-have chair for modern design enthusiasts. It features a chrome-plated bent aluminium frame, while the seat and backrest are made of wood and caning. There are some scratches on the metal frames. The chairs have been fully renovated - a new coat of paint has been applied and the caning of the seats and backrests has been replaced.
