Cesca B32 black chair – design inspired by Marcel Breuer

Black Cesca B32 chair, inspired by the famous model by Marcel Breuer, as at the time the designer did not sign his creations. Structure in chrome-plated tubular steel cantilever, seat and backrest in woven cane, framed in black wood. An iconic Bauhaus design, perfect for a vintage or contemporary interior. How to recognise a genuine Cesca B32: The steel tube is made from a single piece on the original; copies assemble a top part and a bottom part. The seat is straight and uniform; replicas may be curved downwards. The wooden frames are thin and elegant, unlike the thicker copies. The first editions by Thonet or Gavina may bear a discreet logo, but Breuer did not sign his pieces. Some modern reproductions may simply say "Made in Italy.".
