Handmade ceramic collector's plate with a deer motif. Created in the 1960s by Breton ceramist Jacques Marie (1926-1998). A student of Mathurin Méheut, a collaborator at the HB faience works in Quimper, he founded the Atelier du Grand Feu in 1953 in Rennes. He was interested in enamel work. Very good condition. Unique piece. Artist's signature on the bottom of the plate. Dimensions: 1.7 cm thick, 24 cm in diameter. Weight without packaging: 493 g.
