Cone Chair Polythema Limited Edition by Verner Panton Vitra

The VP 01 / Cone Chair is a limited-edition reissue from 1994 of the iconic "Cone Chair, " designed by renowned Danish designer Verner Panton and manufactured by the German company Polythema. Originally designed in 1958, the Pop Art-inspired geometric form was reinterpreted by Panton in this series using new materials and modern structural details, transforming the piece into a true work of art. Instead of the traditional cross-shaped base, most Polythema versions feature a unique, disc-shaped, high-gloss chrome-plated base. Leather and metal versions (Type A/B): More minimalist versions also existed, featuring a frame made of simplified, chrome-plated sheet steel and elegant black leather upholstery. The chair boasts a sturdy construction, is comfortable, and its distinctive design makes it a striking focal point in any modern or design-oriented interior. Condition: Very good, well-preserved condition. The leather shows some minute, superficial signs of wear, visible only upon close inspection, under high magnification, and in suitable lighting conditions. Minimal hairline cracks, resulting from use, are present on the polished steel base; however, overall, the chair is in excellent aesthetic condition.
