This Scandinavian free-standing wall unit in teak comes from Norway from the 1960s. It is a completely modular shelving system model “Ergo”, designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk. It features a practical sliding door cabinet, a glass door display cabinet and two shelves, including a decorative one with sides. Slightly curved cabinets make an organic warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. This piece is perfect for a bedroom, or living room, even for a dining room. It creates a very decorative sculpture-like effect. This particular unit has a rare 232cm hight ( most of Ero units are 200cm H. ) Additionally, the set’s authenticity is confirmed by the “Made in Norway” inscription on the back of the cabinets. This shelving system includes: A sliding door cabinet H.: 47, 5 / W.: 78.5/ D.: 43 cm. Glass door display cabinet H.: 43 / W.: 78.5/ D.: 22 cm. Shelf 21 cm depth. Shelf with sides 21 cm depth. 2 teak supports 232 cm high. Brass hangers. The wall unit has been checked and renovated by our team. All doors work properly and smoothly. The wood has been cleaned with professional compounds and finished with layers of Danish oil to enhance the beauty of the grain. Overall, it is in great vintage condition, with abolutely minor signs of use.
