Wonderful french 19th century gilded oval mirror. Beautiful antique oval mirror from france. The mirror has a wooden frame, decorated with gesso and gilded with gold leaf. The mirror dates from about 1880. The glass is original from the time, which is why there are some (very) small weathered spots in the glass. The frame is in a good healthy condition and has a beautiful antique patina. Original wooden back. This mirror is antique and looks very modern at the same time. It will make a fantastic decorative accent in any interior. Condition: wear is consistent with age and use. Overall good condition, with usual wear, scratches, minor losses to gilding and small weathered spots in the glass.
