Oval mirror in carved wood

Oval mirror in moulded and carved wood, French work from the 1950s/60s. Its floral decoration is finely distributed: a main motif at the top and bottom, highlighted by delicate small side ornaments. The overall design remains balanced and airy, far from overly ornate models, giving it a sober and timeless elegance. Its fine line (2 cm thick) visually lightens the gilding and allows for easy integration into a contemporary, classic, or even minimalist interior. The subtly patinated gilding reveals the traditional red base in places, adding depth and warmth. This slight natural wear contributes fully to its charm and attests to its authenticity.
