Truly scandinavian modern free-standing wall unit in teak is a 2-bay modular shelving system ergo designed by john texmon and einar blindheim for blindheim mobelfabrikk and made in norway in the 1960s. The slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand-looking statement. This shelving system includes: – one cabinet with 4 drawers and sliding door h: 43cm / w: 79cm / d: 35 cm, drawers inner height 11 cm. – one desk with 2 drawers h: 16cm/ w: 79cm / d: 41cm, drawers height: 9 cm. – one sliding cabinet h: 43cm / w: 79 cm / d: 22 cm. – two shelves 21 cm deep. – two flanged shelves 22 cm deep and 14 cm high. – three teak rail legs-supports 203 cm high. – brass hardware. The wall unit is in very good vintage condition with minor traces of use. It is not necessary but recommended to put the wall unit against the wall.
