Console carved in wood and white bone

An extraordinary mid-20th century wooden altar console-table covered in tesserae and in finely carved panels with a wealth of detail, in white bone, ivory color - the console is "donkey back" (carved on the 4 fronts.) with drawers on the ends, and worked in the incisions with the ink pen... Made in china for the european market around the middle of the twentieth century. Dimensions: cm 128x40 x103 h.
