Ashtray / empty pocket sommerso murano

Sublime ashtray/empty prismatic pocket in murano glass attributed to flavio poli, one of the best interpreters of the technique of "sommerso" (= immersed in italian) which consists in superimposing layers of glass by successively passing the object in different crucibles of molten glass allowing subtle combinations of colors. Here three different layers in turquoise, royal blue and a layer of transparent glass. Some small chips are to be noted at the tops of the edges for this nugget!.
