Stunning mid-century modern diamond-shaped sommerso Murano glass ashtray/vide poche/catchall by Flavio Poli for Seguso (Murano, Italy, 1960s/1970s). Made of thick red, blue and transparent faceted glass. It is extremely decorative. Can be used as a display piece on any table. Height: 7 cm; length: 14 cm; width: 14 cm. Weight: 0, 8 kg. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. Minor very light scratches. "Sommerso" (Italian for ''submerged'') is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s which became very popular in the 1950s-70s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is commonly cased by a transparent layer.
