Sommerso faceted ashtray and pocket tray, made of Murano glass.

Tricolour Sommerso vide-poche / ashtray, made of Murano glass; the "immersion" technique involves blowing successive layers of glass. Here, there is an inclusion of a round aubergine purple shape, surrounded by a light blue halo, and blown into a faceted "diamond" shape in colourless glass. 1960s / 1970s. Minor flaws (see photo), but still a beautiful decorative piece.
