Empire-style nightstand, first quarter of the 19th century, with a cylindrical wooden body featuring pronounced grain. The piece rests on a rectangular wooden base and is topped with a circular grey marble top veined with white and black. Two detached columns flank the arched door, adorned with brass gilded capitals and bases, characteristic of the Empire ornamental repertoire. The interior features two levels of storage with wooden shelves. Workshop report: original varnished finish showing signs of wear and some localized cracks around the top; brass fittings patinated by age. The seller specifies a very good original condition, with no subsequent interventions reported. Cleaning of the fittings to be considered according to the buyer's wishes. Marble diameter 41 cm.
