Book-matched flame mahogany veneer covers the curved front doors, the grain sweeping in bold, organic arcs that no two pieces replicate. The warm reddish-brown tones shift with the light. It is a material choice that needs no further decoration — and receives none. The semicircular form tapers elegantly towards the base, a shape that feels at once sculptural and practical. Two doors open to reveal one interior shelf with ample storage. Original brass keyhole escutcheons are in place, the original lock mechanism functions, and the original key is included — a detail increasingly rare on pieces of this age.
