Primitive Wood Carved Kitchen Apothecary Spices Cabinet

Material: - wood - painted in black, green, blue and red. With 1 single original drawer ! The 4 - drawers are made like the original one by me in this year, by profession I am a restorer. Measure: H = 50cm. H= only with drawers 38cm. Wide 30cm. Circa 14cm deep. Weight - 3300 grams. This cabinet is restored as follow: The 3 small drawers and the large drawer + base have been recreated according to the original drawer, like the small one on the top right. I used compatible materials that allow reversibility, but also the ethics of traditional craftsmanship. All the 4 wood pieces visible in the photos were cut with a hand saw, carved with a knife blade and a primer of bone glue and chalk dust was applied. I applied several coats of acrylic paint, according to the stratigraphy of the original pieces, the knobs are ceramic and close in age to the authentic one on the reference drawer. I applied polishing techniques with different porosity, I also applied light mechanical strokes to restore a look as faithful as possible to the original. In total about 50 hours of work were spent!
