Here is a magnificent glazed ceramic vase signed by Jean-Claude Courjault, who worked until the 1970s for Keraluc in Quimper, then set up his own business at La Cerisaie near Chinon in 1975. This vase has a very nice shape, elegant, harmonious, all in roundness, and a beautiful decoration with numerous engravings all around and glazing in multiple soft colors: caramel, brown, gray, bluish... A very beautiful artisanal work both for the turning and for the engraving and glazing. It is signed underneath, hand-engraved in the material "J.cl. Courjault, Poterie de la Cerisaie, Unique pieces," and we find his signature "J.C" around the rim, not far from the base. Therefore, it can be dated after 1975. It is in perfect condition, neither cracked nor chipped, not even a nick. The vase measures 14 cm in height and approximately 14 cm in maximum diameter.
