Small soliflore vase in glazed ceramic, with a generously rounded body and a short, narrow neck. On a pale yellow background, a crown of stylised blue and violet flowers unfolds, with orange-yellow centres, accompanied by green touches and brown punctuations. A colourful decoration that harmoniously highlights the shoulder of the vase. Impressed mark under the base, partially legible, stating: "La Poterie d’Annecy – Saint-Jorioz". Produced in the second half of the 20th century, featuring polychrome floral decoration on a pale yellow background. La Poterie d’Annecy is a ceramics workshop that is part of the tradition of Savoyard pottery. Its history is linked to the Hertz family, who settled in Annecy in the 19th century. According to a local tourist brochure, the name "La Poterie d’Annecy" first appeared in 1950. The workshop then moved to Saint-Jorioz in 1963, before continuing its history under the name "La Poterie du Lac". Small chips and missing glaze at the neck. Fine crazing of the glaze and signs of wear under the base. See detail photographs. Careful shipping with protection suitable for the fragility of the ceramic.
